Immerse yourself into opulent light, sound, and self-discovery through ambient, calming vibrations with sound healer Devon Ginn on Wednesday, December 6th from 7:15-8:15pm in Aura Studio.

Crystal and metal singing bowls, bells, chimes, mantras, indigenous instruments, and lights are the tools used to facilitate this meditative journey with Devon Ginn of Mind Melt Soundscapes. Bring a journal, yoga mat, blankets, pillows, and an open mind.

 About Devon | Devon Ginn manages the programs and outreach efforts at the historic Madam Walker Legacy Center and serves as a board member for BlackSpace Urbanist Collective and Vice President of the board for the Indiana Writers Center. This Indianapolis native was awarded fellowships with AFTA, the NEA/ Indiana Arts Commission, and the Indy Arts Council. Ginn is a 200-hour yoga and meditation teacher, a sound alchemist with Mind Melt Soundscapes, and a published poet. As a freelance teaching artist, Devon travels from state to state, implementing his performance poetry and creative writing workshops. Deliberately collaborating with institutions and thought leaders at the forefront of liberation, Ginn examines the psychogeographies of the built environment through the lens of joy and mindfulness. As a writer, nonprofit administrator, and performance artist, his work reflects all his learned and unlearned experiences.

    • Class Details: December 6th | 7:15-8:15pm. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before class begins to set up your yoga mat and get comfortable
    • Bring: A yoga mat, light blanket, eye mask, pillow 
    • Wear: whatever you're comfortable in. This class is spent laying down.
